Trime appoints new marketing manager

It’s certainly been a busy year for Trime UK. The  company has frequently been in the news for the sales of its sustainable lighting towers, wash bays and associated equipment to hire companies, as well as for a string of awards in the environmental sphere. 

So it’s hardly surprising that the Huntingdon-based company has promoted Emma Cohen to become marketing manager, a newly created position. 

“We are very pleased to confirm Emma’s appointment to this important, new role,” said Paul Hay, Trime UK’s managing director. “Emma joined the team just over two years ago as our marketing administrator.  During this period she has proven to be a great asset to Trime’s sales and marketing team, and a key member of our expansion plans.

“Emma will be involved in our branding, social media messaging, and supporting our sales force alongside leading our trade show participation,” he added. 

Emma has more than 20 years' sales and marketing experience. She has held senior positions with several sporting and leisure equipment suppliers and holds Chartered Institute of Marketing accreditations in email marketing and B2B social selling. 

Commenting on her promotion, Emma said: “I am delighted to be given the opportunity to take on this role and I am looking forward to expanding and enhancing Trime’s range of eco-centred products.”

The Trime Group has its headquarters near Milan and operates two production facilities. It has previously announced its aim to phase out petrol and diesel versions of its site lighting, power generation and associated equipment completely by 2025, and to replace them with emission-free models.
