Atlas Copco compressor targets efficiency
26 March 2024
Atlas Copco has added a new model to its DrillAir portable air compressors range that is said to be offer at least 10% greater efficiency than its predecessor with a lower carbon footprint.
The X-Air⁺ 750-25 is suitable for medium-depth drilling, operating with between 16 and 25 bar pressure and a flow between 350 and 320 litres per second. The machine has a 6.7-litre Cummins engine and is half the size and weight of model it supersedes.
The unit has Atlas Copco’s patented AirXpert automatic regulation system, which is designed to adjust operating parameters based on real-time flow requirements. This reduces fuel and energy consumption.
This also enhances flow rates during demanding phases such as flushing and drill stem refilling.
The 750-25 model is designed for use in a wide range of industries including construction, mining, and energy sectors.
