MHM’s Christmas cheer

Instead of buying Christmas gifts for clients this year, MHM Group has donated to the Trussell Trust which runs more than 1,200 food banks throughout the country. 

The charity recorded an increase in the number of people seeking help between April and September this year, with 320,000 using its food banks, which is 40 per cent higher than in 2021.

Also, by making the donation electronically, MHM says that this has reduced its carbon footprint, rather than sending gift packages across the UK to clients.

Brad Ireland, group sales director for MHM which supplies solar powered lighting equipment and other green products, said: “We are proud to support an amazing charity that relies on the generosity of so many people. The Trussell Trust is doing such great work and supporting many across the country in a time of economic uncertainty. 

“But donating money to charity is not the only way to give back, and everyone at MHM is invested in doing more in the coming year to support our local organisations and charities that rely on good will and the investment of time.” 

Brad adds that the company plans to introduce new environmentally friendly products and initiatives in 2023.
