MHM Links with Trackunit

MHM Group is partnering with telematics specialist Trackunit to provide data logging services relating to the operation of its machinery.

MHM, which supplies solar hybrid and traditionally fuelled generators, anticipates better monitoring of the performance of machines in the field and improved service response during the five-year collaboration.

Each generator will have a digital ‘logbook’, similar to those relating to vehicles, which will track machine performance as well as servicing and updating requirements throughout its life.

The company says this new MHM Link Live service will be delivered by a new division in association with the Works with Trackunit partner brand, and believes that the data gathered will help drive efficiency, reduce costs and decrease equipment downtime.

“This really is the future of plant, allowing us to track performance of our generators whilst on site, enabling us to monitor faults and repair and service quicker,” said Mat Llewellyn, managing director of MHM. 

Trackunit’s CEO, Soeren Brogaard commented: “As we see a shift towards a more open and transparent industry, we are delighted to work with the MHM Group under the new Works With Trackunit partner brand which unlocks huge value and increased business efficiencies, not only from MHM internally but for their customers as well.” 

Trackunit says its telematics services are used to monitor more than 1.5 million connected devices across the world.
