Five Faresins for Sunbelt

Sunbelt Rentals has bought five more electric telehandlers from UK dealer GGR Group.
This latest purchase of the Faresin 6.26 Full Electric models follows an initial investment in 2021 which saw several of the machines included as part of the hirer’s ESG initiative called ‘Our Planet’, focused on driving down carbon emissions.
After initial trials with customers, Sunbelt has now added these latest units, specified with the Farmatics telematics system that allows users to remotely monitor operations, geolocation, energy consumption and productivity during use. Three 400V fast chargers have also been supplied to enable them to be charged during break times.
Andrew Winlow, director – asset management, Sunbelt Rentals commented: “We have been impressed by what we have seen from the Faresin 6.26 Full Electric so far and customer feedback has been very positive.”
The standard 300Ah battery will last up to six hours of typical use with a rapid recharge time of 1.5 hours from zero with the external fast charger, says GGR. A regular 110V on-board charger is included when larger capacity power supplies are not available, and it can be used for an overnight charge.
