Green MHM wins bronze

MHM Group has won bronze in the Green World Awards for its Green Site Power Package designed to reduce carbon emissions at construction sites. The company will receive the trophy at a ceremony in Westminster in November. 

The Green World Awards, which this year attracted 500 entries, are organised by The Green Organisation, an international, non-profit environment group that recognises environmental best practice around the world.

MHM states that more than 30% of its sales and re-hire equipment are focused on sustainability, being solar or hybrid-powered.

Commenting on the success, managing director Mat Llewellyn said: “We are thrilled to see our carbon reducing, sustainable solutions receive recognition. It’s so important for the construction and hire sectors to make strides in environmental innovation and look at how it can reduce its carbon footprint for the long term.”
