SANY launches telehandlers
14 March 2024
SANY has officially launched a range of telehandlers in the UK. The first two machines are the STH1440 (14m) and STH1840 (18m), with a 7m variant planned for release later this year.
Incorporating Stage V 55kW/74hp diesel engines, the machines have three selectable steering modes (two wheel, four wheel and crab) and can be fitted with a variety of attachments such as hydraulic fork positioners.
The ROPS/FOPS cab on the machines has a 10in touchscreen display. Other standard fittings include a telescopic steering column, proportional single lever control with auto rpm, air-conditioning, radio, heated rear screen, sunblind, storage compartments and cup and bottle holders.
A load management system monitors the machine to prevent instability and, when carrying loads, will limit speeds for safety and improved load retention. Also included is a reversing camera with distance sensor, which is automatically activated.
The telehandlers are registered and protected with the CESAR Datatag theft deterrence system and CESAR ECV for quick on-site identification of their emissions performance.
