King’s Award for Niftylift

Niftylift has been awarded King's Award for Enterprise in International Trade for 2024, one of the UK’s highest accolades for business success.

The Milton Keynes-based manufacturer of mobile elevating work platforms has previously been awarded four Queen's Awards for Enterprise.

Managing Director John Keely said: “We are immensely proud to receive this distinguished award. It reflects our collective hard work and dedication to excellence in international trade. It also underscores our commitment to advancing our technology and ensuring that our operations support sustainable practices worldwide."

The King's Award for Enterprise in International Trade is granted to British businesses that demonstrate exceptional performance in international expansion and commercial success.

Niftylift had to show substantial growth in overseas earnings and commercial success through innovative products and services.

The company says it has expanded its global reach, with export volumes having increased consistently year on year, developing environmentally conscious products meeting rigorous international standards, benefiting local economies, particularly in the UK, but also in the United States and Europe.

“Our success is not just measured by sales but also by the positive impact we have on communities and the environment,” added John Keely. “We work hard to be successful on the international stage, but we are a family business at heart, and the well-being of our staff, their families, and our local communities is what drives us to succeed."

The official presentation of the King's Award for Enterprise will take place at a royal reception later this year, attended by members of the Royal Family and other dignitaries.
