HD Hyundai Construction Equipment has added eight mini excavators with operating weights of 1.7 to 5.5-tonnes to its A-Series machines.

The new models have Stage V diesel engines, load-sensing hydraulic systems on heavier models, proportional joystick controls with quick-coupler piping and safety valves on boom, arm and dozer blade cylinders, and cabins that can be tilted on machines above 3.5-tonnes for ease of maintenance

With these new additions, the full line-up now includes 12 models ranging from the 1.0-tonne HX10A micro, through to the 9-tonne category HX85A. Five of the mini excavators: the HX17A Z (pictured), HX19A, HX35A Z, HX40A and the HX48A Z, will be launched in February, with 2.5-tonne, 3.0-tonne and 5.0-tonne models completing the line-up in the second quarter of 2024. Machines with a ‘z’ suffix are zero tail swing units.

HX-A Series mini and midi excavators can be supplied with a remote management system that uses GPS satellite technology to provide real-time telematics operating data.
