Over recent weeks the blog has highlighted some of the products and exhibitors that will be at the Executive Hire Show at the CBS Arena in Coventry next week on 14 and 15 February. Here’s a very quick overview of some other items that will be on display.
SANY UK will show its smallest zero tail swing excavator, the SY18U which has a length of 3.5m and is just under 1m wide, with an expanding undercarriage that extends to 1.4m wide. The stand will also include the SY19E electric mini excavator which has a lithium iron phosphate cobalt-free battery that is claimed to offer faster charging and to last for up to 3,500 full charge cycles.
Spartan Solutions will promote its Phalanx 6 all-in-one software platform that can streamline rental operations by digitising logistical and service processes.
Ohashi’s wood chipper line-up will include the ES151GH model, a compact tracked machine with a 6in capacity and measuring 730mm wide.
Xummitt’s Sierra portable 5m lighting tower has LED lights and is designed to fit into a car.
Doosan Bobcat will display the first Bobcat branded portable power product to be seen at an industry event in the UK, namely the PA7.4 (7/45) compressor equipped with a generator option. The machine provides 4.0 m³/min (140cfm) of compressed air at 7 bar nominal pressure, and it incorporates an 8.5kVA generator.
Adamo Precision Engineering will show the Tigerbite mini crusher for recycling on-site waste into reusable materials.
Q Climates’s stand display will focus on the Honeywell range of evaporative air coolers.
The Show will also include once again Innovation Trail Eco – Live, highlighting eco-friendly products. Participants include Atlas Copco which will highlight its latest portable battery energy storage systems using high-density lithium-ion for light weight. They are claimed to offer over 12 hours of power on a single charge.
Husqvarna has expanded its battery-powered equipment line-up with the K 540i power cutter, which operates on the BLi 36 V battery platform that can be used with a variety of tools, as mentioned previously on the blog.
Golz will introduce the BattPak 5048 (shown below), a weather-proof portable power pack with an IP67 rating against water ingress. It can be charged via solar, mains and electric vehicle options.
E-power’s hydrogen generator is claimed to be able to adapt internal combustion engines to run on the fuel, while its P-Grid hybrid solution combines a diesel generator with batteries for efficient energy management.
Fuelbox is launching a 500-litre AdBlue Box as an eco-friendly alternative to traditional bulk containers.
Pramac Generac will show the LX LFP Series battery power system designed for ease of use.
Mecalac will display its Revotruck (shown below) which combines a revolving cabbed dumper with off-road trucking capabilities for site safety and efficiency especially in tight locations.
inspHire will promote new functionality it has introduced for its Office Edition hire management software to integrate with what3words, a proprietary geocode system designed to identify any location on the surface of earth with a resolution to within 3m. Exact locations can be hard to describe, especially for places without a street address, such as construction sites, and greenfield sites, so hire companies can now record and share the information relating to stored site locations. This ensures that delivery drivers are directed to the required drop-off point.
Also on the Innovation Trail, Auger Torque will promote its Cone Crusher Bucket for reprocessing small volume construction rubble into usable aggregate.
Lifos will promote its compact Fort solar PV and battery storage system. Already featured on the blog last year, the unit incorporates solar panels that can be stored neatly inside the machine itself.
And as this year’s Show opens on Valentine’s Day, Point of Rental Software believes that visitors will love the new Syrinx 365 system which it will launch. Chocolates and sweet swag giveaways will also be available on the stand…
