In control with Powr2

Powr2 says it is looking forward to showing its latest developments in its mobile battery energy storage systems at the Executive Hire Show next month. 

These include an enhanced Energy Control Module (ECM) and online management portal. The ECM, coupled with a cloud-based platform, is designed to enhance usability and to increase control of the manufacturer's Powrbank battery storage units, enabling usersy to toggle energy sources on and off via customisable timers, giving efficient power operations without manual intervention.

Power strategies can be tailored to individual job sites, with detailed reports. Users can monitor parameters such as power usage and battery state-of-charge, with live updates on generator utilisation. 

The ECM also allows multiple Powrbanks to be coordinated on a single job site, streamlining oversight and simplifying management within the context of a specific group. 

In addition at the Show, Powr2 will introduce more node sizes of its Powrbank MAX series, offering increased scalability and a wider range of kVA/kWh combinations. 

The company’s battery energy storage solutions (BESS) have been used in temporary power installations across diverse industries including equipment hire, construction, events and film/TV production in over 16 countries worldwide. This helps users to reduce their carbon footprint, as reported in an earlier blog story. 

The Executive Hire Show takes place at the Coventry Building Society Arena on 14 and 15 February, and Powr2 will be on stand D20.
