Himoinsa appointment

Himoinsa has appointed Jesús Santos as the new Director for its Power Solutions business unit, reaffirming its commitment to developing power generation equipment for special projects, such as mission-critical power supplies, data centres, hospitals and airports. 

Jesús Santos, pictured below, has more than 20 years' experience in the power generation sector, having held senior positions in companies such as Rolls-Royce, Cummins and Deutz, focusing on special projects for critical applications in sectors including data centres, industry, infrastructure and health. 

As the Director of Himoinsa’s Power Solutions Business Unit he will have global responsibilities and will work with the Directors of Asia, EMEA and the Americas to define a growth strategy for each region.

Himoinsa says it is reinforcing the strategic growth plan for its Power Solutions Division, which includes the development of new products and solutions, as well as the opening of a new production centre for this business unit.

The manufacturer says it is also committed to strengthening the various engineering areas involved in these projects, including the acoustic engineering teams.
