Feel the heat with Airrex

The extremes of cold that have been affecting much of the country lately made me think of a product I saw recently.

An impressive blast of heat greeted visitors walking past the Oxdale Products stand at the Saltex show held at the NEC towards the end of last year.

The business is a distributor for Airrex diesel heaters. These have a patented burner which circulates combustion gases through pipelines with a ceramic coating to generate infra red heat. 

The manufacturer says this process gives clean combustion that does away with the need for an exhaust pipe and enables the heaters to be used in a room with sufficient natural ventilation. 

The machines have a low noise level of 48dB and can be adjusted remotely via Wi-Fi. 

Models are available for heating areas of up to 900 sq m, 1500 sq m or 2000 sq m and Oxdale’s Luke Elliott tells me that a number of hirers have added units to their fleets.
