Sunbelt’s year of event success

Sunbelt Rentals is reflecting on a year of awards success in the events sector throughout 2023, including the Festival Suppliers, Events Production, HAE and NOEA Awards.
This recognition comes off the back of the hirer supporting major events across the UK such as the Lord Mayor's Show, Remembrance Sunday, multiple music festivals and the London New Years firework display.
In January, Sunbelt Rentals started the year off with four successes in the Festival Supplier Awards, being recognised in the categories of Best Temporary Roadway/Walkway, Best Crowd/Pit Barrier, Best Plant & Equipment Hire, and the Green Supplier Award. Additionally, the business was highly commended in the Best Supplier Award category.
The Awards also recognised Sunbelt’s investment in sustainable equipment in line with its ‘Our Planet’ sustainability strategy.
The went on to achieve success in the Event Production Awards, winning in the categories of Best Fencing or Crowd Barrier and Best Temporary Flooring Provider. The company was also Highly Commended in the so-called Save of the Season Award, acknowledging its efforts in the smooth delivery of services relating to the Queen’s funeral, codenamed Operation London Bridge.
In April Sunbelt Rentals were recognised with the Event Hire Company of the Year award at the HAE Awards, where Oscar Norman, Senior Project Engineer, won Workshop Manager of the Year and overall Hire Achiever of the Year.
In November, the team received the Prestigious Judges Award at the National Outdoor Events Association (NOEA) Awards, presented to recognise Sunbelt’s significant commitment through investment to supply sustainable equipment and services into the events sector.
