BGG opens the Box

A key consideration when using Stage V diesel generators is keeping the engine topped up with the AdBlue urea needed for consistent clean running. 

So an interesting new product from BGG UK is the BlueBOX automatic AdBlue refuelling kit that can maintain levels of the fluid automatically. 

The 440-litre capacity unit has an integral polyethylene tank housed in an insulated container. 

Chris Archer, BGG UK’s Managing Director, says that the product offers a practical solution to a challenging operational requirement. 

“You could just keep topping up the integral tank on the engine, but since AdBlue is consumed typically at a rate of around 8 per cent of the diesel used, during heavy-duty running the levels need to be replenished very frequently.”

The external BlueBOX tank can maintain levels as required. Forklift guides and lifting eyes are incorporated and the units are stackable.
