Himoinsa marks UK decade

How quickly time passes: Himoinsa’s dedicated operation in the UK celebrated its tenth anniversary on 5 November and much has happened during the decade.

One of the most significant developments was the launch in 2019 of Himoinsa’s full range of Stage 5 generators. This was followed in 2021 by the introduction of the 30/60 and 45/60 models in the company’s EHR battery generators range, to be followed up in 2024 with larger 300kW and 150kW models along with a 1mW stage 5 genset package and more lighting tower models.

“Each year we have launched something new to the market, showing our ongoing innovation,” said Clive Dix (pictured), MD of Himoinsa Power Solutions based in Crewe. “Listening to the market and working with professional hirers is what makes Himoinsa a market leader.”

Another milestone was the manufacturer’s 2019 launch of its LPG powered generator sets (shown below) in 30, 40, 70 and 110kVA. These have aroused interest particularly from users seeking more environmentally friendly ways of working.

“We saw the potential for LPG as soon as the Stage V emissions regulations were announced,” said Clive. “Next year is shaping up to be the biggest year yet for these machines, with most interest coming from the rental industry.”

Himoinsa has also partnered with LPG providers so that a complete package of machines plus fuel can be offered to users. And Clive believes that such an all-encompassing approach has been the cornerstone of the company’s UK success since 2013.

“Technology and products are inevitably going to change and evolve, and what differentiates a business is the quality of its people in being able to help the customer at every stage,” he added.

“We have built a strong and loyal team here, one of the most recent appointments having been Chris Autey as our Special Projects Manager to co-ordinate bespoke solutions, and we aim to make everything as easy as possible for our customers.

“We say thank you to all our customers and colleagues for a wonderful ten years.”

● Himoinsa has also introduced a new diagnostic tool to enable qualified technicians to pinpoint operational issues – many of which are the result of user error. More on that in a future blog post.
