Eagle flies with JCB

Glasgow-based Eagle Hire has added to its fleet with a wide range of JCB machinery in a £4 million deal.

The order comprises no fewer than 127 machines including compact tracked dumpers, mini and midi excavators, 6-tonne dumpers and CT160-80 and CT260-120 tandem rollers, all with Stage V engines and supplied through the Scot JCB dealership.

Iain MacDonald, Sales Director at Eagle Hire, said that the deal means that the company can now offer customers a wider range of machinery. John Monaghan, Plant Director, added that some of the machines have already been out on hire and attracted positive feedback. 

Established in 1990, Eagle Hire has a second depot in Edinburgh and also operates a specialist survey equipment hire depot in Glasgow.
