An earlier blog post reported that many people who are tackling DIY and home improvement tasks for the first time are turning to hire companies and equipment suppliers for advice because family members of an older generation lack experience themselves.
Some companies are making instructional videos available on their websites covering certain common tasks or providing information on product selection, and a good example is Seddon Plant & Engineers.

This gives an excellent insight into how exactly these essential construction products work, the different types (drum, vertical shaft, pan and cement truck options), and their relative merits.

Advice like this will be appreciated by many users and while its main purpose is to educate and inform, it will have the spin-off benefit of raising the information provider’s profile in the customer’s mind – and very likely lead to new business.
