Groundforce Shorco has upgraded its online tool developed to help with trench and manhole box designs.

YourSolution+ can create a design for individual sites, with detailed soil profiles and bespoke surcharges and is said to be usable by anyone who can confidently provide a verbal soil profile. These are then instantly converted into load patterns based on industry best practice. 

The system also allows qualified and competent users to customise and select their own parameters using their own engineering judgement.

Using built-in engineering calculations, the tool will create real-time design documentation and technical drawings for the company’s range of boxes. CO2e emissions per hire will also be included. 

Anil Govind, Groundforce’s Marketing and Customer Services Director, said: “The demand for box designs is continuously growing and this latest innovation provides customers with the same engineering tools of our in-house design team, allowing for bespoke designs which can also be checked by our very own technical team, increasing ease and speed without comprising safety.”

Access to YourSolution+ is available 24/7 on mobile devices and desktops directly from the Groundforce website, making it suitable for out-of-hours emergency works.
