Sunbelt charity golf success

Sunbelt Rentals UK and Ireland has raised £30,000 for three charities throughout the UK from a recent charity golf day. Held at the JCB Golf and Country Club, the event brought together customers, suppliers and the hirer’s personnel.

One of the organisations that will benefit is the Carnytne & Riddrie Food Bank in Glasgow, which distributes essential food supplies to people in the local community facing hardship.

Another charity that will receive funding is the Embassy Project, located in Manchester city centre, which helps homeless people through accommodation, education and life skills initiatives to integrate them back into society.

And the third recipient will be Coram’s Fields in London which operates a playground and safe park area exclusively for children and young people, along with educational, recreational, and sporting activities.

This achievement would not have been possible without the generous support and commitment from our colleagues, customers and suppliers on the day who helped us in transforming lives in the communities in which we live and work. Their compassion to support Our Planet and leave a lasting positive impact on both our communities and charity partners was clear throughout the event.”
