Takeuchi opens up

A striking feature of Takeuchi’s new TB350R short tail swing mini excavator is the access to key components for service and maintenance. 

The 5-tonne machine has a full-width swing-out engine canopy and a gas-lift side access panel to provide 270 degree access. The hydraulics are located via a hinged low-line service door and easy-lift floor panels. 

The TB350R, which was displayed on Takeuchi’s stand at Plantworx, has a compact track footprint of 2000 by 2500mm, facilitating access to and operation in confined spaces. LED work lights are fitted to the front and rear of the machine.

Visitors to the show were also able to get hands-on with Takeuchi's new TB20e 1930kg mini (pictured below) which is powered by a battery giving up to eight hours of operating time at 65 per cent loading, says the company.
