Seddon (Plant & Engineers) is investing in a full office refurbishment at it Bolton headquarters to enhance the working environment, modernise infrastructure and improve sustainability.
Scheduled to commence on 3 July and estimated to last for eight weeks, the project will incorporate several significant upgrades. The existing gas central heating system will be removed and replaced by a more sustainable and energy-efficient system with a rating of A++. This aligns with the company's long-term vision to reduce its carbon footprint and transition towards greener alternatives.
Moreover, various improvements will be put in place to enhance the overall office atmosphere. These include the installation of a modern, efficient LED lighting system with motion sensors to save energy, and the quality of illumination will also be increased.
In addition, new double glazing will be implemented for better thermal insulation, optimising energy consumption and reducing environmental impact.
Recognising the importance of technology in today's business landscape, Seddon (P&E) will also upgrade its IT network infrastructure. The introduction of a new and advanced network system will facilitate seamless communication and efficient collaboration among employees, fostering productivity and innovation within the organisation. Modern conference equipment will be incorporated for virtual meetings.
