GreenMech has launched a new entry-level wood chipper for cost-conscious grounds care professionals and landscapers, and for the hire market.

The ECO 135 is a road-towable model with a 12.5cm capacity and is also available with a 360° turntable for easier positioning in operation. 

It has horizontal rollers, a no-stress feed system and twin disc-blade chipping technology, as well as a new flywheel design for efficient throughput. Power comes from a 24hp Loncin petrol engine.

Options available include a variable height discharge chute, spare wheel, stowage box and a HushChip pack, which is designed to provide additional component protection and reduces noise output. LED lighting can also be specified.

Both models weigh less than 750kg and carry a 3-year warranty.
