Prolectric set to shine

Prolectric will officially launch its latest compact hybrid lighting tower at the Executive Hire Show next month. 

The ProRXM Solar Hybrid is specifically designed for track-side access or in tight roadside spaces. It is designed for all-year-round operation and the company says the unit has a similar footprint to a typical diesel powered alternative. 

The machine has four multi-directional 180W LED lights which can be dimmed, monitored, and scheduled remotely. This versatility makes it suitable for paths and walkways, as well as offering full-beam task lighting for increased workplace safety and site security. 

Designed to work primarily off solar power, the ProRXM Hybrid has three 270W solar panels with 8kWh of usable battery bank storage. An integral back-up generator has a 2.8kW DC engine that consumes just 0.5 litres of diesel per hour, and starts up automatically if the battery should become discharged. 

The unit can be fully controlled both locally using its touchscreen controller, or remotely via an advanced web portal. Key performance metrics and in-depth fuel, carbon and cost savings reports are also available. 

The ProRXM Solar Hybrid joins Prolectric’s line-up of solar lighting products that includes the original 100% solar ProRXM, the ProTemp temporary lighting column and the ProLight lighting tower. 

The Executive Hire Show takes place on 14 and 15 February at the CBS Arena in Coventry, and Prolectric will be on stand J10.
