Long service from Denyo
8 May 2024
On its stand at the recent ScotPlant exhibition in Edinburgh, John F Hunt Power displayed a remarkably long-lived Denyo Eventa generator originally supplied by the Morris Machinery business, which was acquired by John F Hunt group in 2022.
The 12-year old Eventa 60 in its distinctive pink livery had 43,000 hours on the clock and was still going strong. Richard Denholm, Managing Director of Morris Machinery, said that the aim was to show visitors the longevity and reliability of the generators.
“This model hasn’t had any money spent on it at all except for servicing costs,” said Richard.
The 60kVA machine displayed was obviously a Stage IIIa model but today’s Denyo Eventas are, of course, Stage V versions.
