Charge up with Think Hire

New from the specialist renewable energy equipment supplier Think Hire is the Solar Charging Station for recharging tools, phones, radios and other battery powered equipment.

The stand-alone portable charging unit houses 40 individual charging points that can be locked with a unique key. The unit itself runs from direct solar power which feeds an onboard battery, with no requirements for a mains power supply, says the company. An optional wind turbine can also be fitted.

The Charging Station has an automated emergency shutdown facility to avoid unnecessary damage or injury from defective equipment, and the unit can be monitored and managed remotely.

Temperature sensors are fitted in every locker and a fire suppression system is incorporated together with audible and visual fire alarms.
