More PACE from Husqvarna

Husqvarna Construction is introducing three more additions to its 94V heavy-duty PACE cordless equipment line-up.

To complement the K 1 PACE disc cutter and the version designed for use by rescue services, a new variant has been developed specifically for work on railways, tram tracks and metro systems, as mentioned previously on the blog.

The other two newcomers are a dust extractor, called the DE 120 H PACE, and the DM 1 PACE core drill.

The drill motor is designed for both wet and dry drilling and Husqvarna says that optimum performance can be obtained by using it with the company's D1610 drill bit.

When dry drilling, both the DM 1 PACE and K 1 PACE can be paired with the DE 120 H PACE dust extractor, an H-class machine with a compact design.

All these machines will be displayed on the Husqvarna Construction stand at the Executive Hire Show on 14 and 15 February.

Husqvarna also offers a number of cordless products on its 36V BLi battery platform, including the K 540i disc cutter (mentioned earlier on the blog), a core drill, a dust extractor, a  concrete screed, a water tank and a work light, as well as landscaping machines from Husqvarna’s Forest & Garden range including chainsaws, hedge trimmers and a leaf blower.

Another new BLi platform addition is the LF 60i LAT plate compactor, which will be available in 2024. It is said to offer the same performance as a petrol model but with the added benefit of easier starting in all conditions.

“We believe in an electric future, and we’re committed to further developments of our range on these platforms. We are proud to deliver solutions that support customers in the construction industry on their journey towards reduced fossil dependency,” said Joe Taylor, VP Product & Service Management with Husqvarna Construction.
