Sunbelt gains Bronze

For the second consecutive year, Sunbelt Rentals UK and Ireland has been awarded bronze accreditation from the 5% Club’s 2023-2024 Employer Audit Scheme, highlighting the company’s commitment to its people and sustainability.
The 5% Club’s members aspire to have 5% of their workforce in earn-and-learn positions within five years of joining, including apprentices, sponsored students and graduates on formalised training schemes.
The scheme assesses employers’ activities, evaluates their future plans and commitments, and examines their approaches to sustainability, quality, social mobility, diversity, and inclusion.
Sunbelt Rentals' apprenticeship programme has been in operation for more than ten years. Over the last two years, they have provided apprenticeships to 200 people, with further developments planned for their upcoming programme to broaden the opportunities available.
Jenny Parry, Head of Talent, at Sunbelt Rentals, said: “We’re delighted to celebrate our bronze membership with the 5% Club for the second year running. Initiatives such as our apprenticeship programme and mentoring schemes are just two ways that we invest in our people.”
