Illumin8 shines with Trime

Long-standing Showman’s Show exhibitor Illumin8 Lights participated in the recent event for the first time since its acquisition by Boels Rental, a deal reported in May. 

Illumin8’s fleet comprises lighting towers made by Trime and a representative selection of machines on the stand included the hirer’s very first unit from the manufacturer, an X-Eco light bearing the serial number 0001.

This was also the first product Trime UK had sold after it opened for business in 2016. 

Shown on the left of the picture above, it was hard to tell the seven-year old machine from newer counterparts alongside, which demontrates Illumin8’s careful handling of its fleet and the longevity of Trime’s equipment. 

It also shows how far-sighted the manufacture was in introducing the fuel-efficient X-Eco diesel lighting tower, which his since been joined by various hybrid options with lithium batteries and solar panels. 

The Illumin8 line-up complements the lighting towers in Boels Rental UK’s power services fleet, which also includes JCB generators. 

Gary Darley, who was recently appointed as MD of Boels Rental UK having previously been Operations Director, tells me that a new Illumin8 depot will be opening in Stockport shortly, with others in the pipeline.
