Lifos powers up

Providing electricity for the lighting and rigging equipment specialist Essential Supplies stand at last week’s Showman’s Show was a Lifos Fort hybrid unit. 

The Fort is a self-contained system comprising 18 solar panels which can be quickly deployed either by using the fitted solar panel kick-stand or an optional container roof mounting kit. When not in use the panels stow neatly inside the machine’s cabinet. 

Lifos’s Chris Wintle told me that the company is creating partnerships with customers and users to help them achieve optimum performance and sustainability. 

“We’re not just selling a product in a box, but also offering our expertise in solar and hybrid technology,” he said. “We can devise a setup that enables customers to benefit from using solar energy in a plug-and-play way. And as a UK manufacturer, we can respond and adapt quickly.”
