Advanced Access Platforms expands JCB fleet

JCB has delivered the latest machines in a £2 million order from Advanced Access Platforms that includes electric scissor lifts, telescopic handlers and rotating telehandlers.
Over the last 12 months, the hirer has added 100 JCB electric scissor lifts to its fleet alongside 26m 555-260R rotating telehandlers and a series of JCB Loadall telescopic handlers, supplied by dealer Greenshields JCB.
The order includes S1930E, S2632E and S3246E electric scissor lifts spanning 5.8m to 9.75m. They join 80 JCB scissor lifts already in the hirer’s fleet.
Advanced Access Platforms Director, John Corcoran said: “The JCB electric scissor lifts fit perfectly into our powered access portfolio. They are consistent, easy to use and easy to service. They are ideal for our existing customer base which spans the commercial, industrial and media sectors.”
He added that the machines align with the company's ‘Advanced Eco’ promise of supplying electric and hybrid machines as standard wherever possible.
Established in 2007, Advanced Access Platforms has offices and facilities in Sutton, Southampton, Northampton and Stratford in east London.
