Trime plays its part

Trime UK has launched an online spare parts ordering system for owners of its equipment.

After locating the machine’s unique serial number at the bottom of the data plate and entering it into the spare parts portal, the user is shown the manual for the relevant Trime lighting tower or wash bay plus a list of parts with real-life images. 

The screen will show live pricing, stock levels and a quick ordering button. Details of regularly purchased parts can be saved to facilitate repeat orders. 

Earlier this year, the company successfully trialled the system with its popular X-Eco LED lighting tower and it has now been rolled out across its product portfolio. 

MD Paul Hay said: “We are well aware that in a fast-moving environment such as the hire market, having the quick availability of spare parts is paramount. Therefore, we worked with our IT partners to develop this system to enable all our clients to have quick and easy access to source spare parts and keep their equipment running and in good order.”

The new facility is available by registration to all owners and users, as well as engineers working on Trime lighting towers or wash bays. 

If an online order is placed before 2.00pm, Trime says the parts will be despatched the same day.
