Cordless Honda range

Honda has launched a range of cordless garden and grounds care tools that can be powered by a choice of batteries to match the running time to different users’ requirements.
The line-up includes a hedge trimmer, leaf blower, and a lawn trimmer which can accept either 2.0Ah, 4.0Ah, or 6.0Ah lithium-ion batteries, which can also be used with other Honda equipment such as lawnmowers.
The machines are designed for low levels of noise and vibration and have brushless motors for reduced maintenance.
The lawn trimmer incorporates a folding plant protector to shield flowers in delicate garden areas, while the hedge trimmer has a blade-tip protector for safe trimming close to walls., and stall free operation owing to the intelligent auto release. The cordless blower delivers a maximum airflow volume of 780 m³/h.
The batteries have an LED state of charge indicator and incorporate technology for improved heat dissipation for longer work periods and maximum life. All are compatible with Honda’s 8.0A fast charger which is designed to optimise battery life and performance and has a built-in cooling fan. It can fully charge a 4.0Ah battery in approximately 35 minutes, says the manufacturer.
