MKM adds MHM

MKM, the independent builders’ merchant which is steadily expanding its tool and plant hire activity, has added generators from MHM to its fleet. 

The MG 6000 SSY-Eco machines generators have an automatic start-stop system to reduce emissions and running costs, and can be run on HVO (hydro-treated vegetable oil, or a mix of both, as a greener alternative to diesel. 

Trials undertaken with the generators powering small site cabins over a four-day period showed a reduction in engine run time of 14 hours and saved £20 in fuel costs.

MKM’s focus is on doing the right thing for our customers. MHM’s generators are the first to incorporate stop-start technology into them, so it was an easy choice to pick their machines.”
