Electric Komatsu mini

Komatsu Europe has introduced a 3-tonne class electric mini excavator with a lithium-ion battery. 

The company says that in operation the PC33E-6 can annually save more than its own body mass in CO2 emissions when compared against conventional diesel products, without compromising on performance.

Emanuele Viel, Group Manager Utility said that most users would typically be able to work non-stop for a full shift before having to recharge the 35kW battery.
