Kentec's clean winner

An X-Wash cleaning bay from Trime is helping Tonbridge-based Kentec Tool Hire wash down off-hired equipment more efficiently and enhance its operations from an environmental perspective. 

Director Lee Batson said that Kentec bought the unit after having seen it at the Executive Hire Show in February. 

“Now it has been installed our teams are really pleased with the X-Wash as they hardly have to do an extra cleaning up after using it!” he said.

“The X-Wash looks great, it doesn’t take up too much room in the yard, and its water recycling attributes are good for the environment.” 

The unit has a rear solids collection tank section which recycles the water through a system of filters so that heavy solids are contained for easy removal. The dirty water is pumped into the filtration tank where a series of filters removes smaller solid particulates, hydrocarbons and oils. 

Kentec has been established for over 30 years and has a thriving sibling training business.
