Trime wins Bronze

Trime is celebrating success in the International CSR Excellence Awards which recognise achievements in sustainability.

The company won a Bronze Award in the Environmental Endeavour category for its sustainable X-Solar lighting tower and its water-saving X-Wash portable cleaning bay.

Marketing Manager Emma Cohen and Sales Manager Mark Taylor received Trime’s trophy at a ceremony held at London’s St. Paul's Cathedral.

The X-Solar has four 60W energy-saving LED lamps mounted on an 8.5m mast. Trime says the machine is able to operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in most regions.

The X-Wash uses recycled water to prevent soil pollution and contamination of drains from oil, grease and similar contaminants commonly associated with the regular cleaning of construction equipment. There are currently eight models in the Trime range.

Commenting on Trime’s achievement, Emma said: “Naturally, we are delighted to receive this award. We have always championed the environmental attributes of the X-Solar and X-Wash, but to have their qualities formally recognised by this internationally distinguished organisation is very satisfying. Mark and I accepted the award on behalf of the whole of the Trime teams worldwide.”

The Awards are organised by the Green Organisation, an independent, international non-profit group that promotes environmental best practice worldwide.

Trime’s manufacturing plants are based near Milan and its UK operation is located in Huntingdon.
