Sydenhams cleans up with Trime

Sydenhams Hire has installed an X-Wash unit from Trime UK at its relocated depot in Devizes to facilitate the cleaning of equipment without having to undertake substantial installation work.

Richard​ Chalmers, Sydenhams’ Technical, Health and Safety Director, said that the system solves the problem of containing the dirt removed when cleaning machines.

“The fact that it reuses the water is a huge benefit, not only to our bills but also to the environment. It is so simple to clean out the soil when it needs to be done,” he added.  

The X-Wash is designed to prevent soil pollution and contamination of drains from oil, grease and similar chemical contaminants commonly associated with the regular cleaning of off-hired equipment.

Sydenhams has eight locations throughout the south and south-west of England.
