Trime cleans up with award

Lighting and site equipment supplier Trime has received an award in recognition of its corporate social responsibility initiatives.

Trime competed against more than 500 other nominations in the International CSR Excellence Awards 2023 and will receive their trophy and certificate at a ceremony at St Paul’s Cathedral on 16 June.

As part of its entry, Trime nominated their emission-free X-Solar lighting tower and the water recycling X-Wash equipment cleaning bay (pictured), both designed for use on construction sites and at outside events.

The manufacturer began its X-Solar project to develop a lighting tower that was powered solely by a combination of solar and battery power. The X-Wash prevents soil pollution and contamination of drains from oil, grease, and similar substances. Its inbuilt recycling system contains and reuses the water. 

Paul Hay, Trime UK’s Managing Director, said: “We are honoured to be given this award. It is a testament to our designers who are continually working hard to produce equipment that reduces emissions and helps to save a vital natural resource.”

The CSR Excellence Awards are run by The Green Organisation, an independent, global environmental group that promotes best practice in social responsibility.
