Tufftruk goes large

Tufftruk has launched the biggest model yet in its line-up of Truxta battery powered compact dumpers. 

The EB800 Bendie has an 800kg payload capacity and, as on the existing machines in the range, the tipping skip can be quickly replaced with a flatbed for materials transportation. 

The battery is said to provide sufficient power to last throughout a typical eight-hour working day and the skip will be available in both steel and tough polycarbonate versions, the latter being suitable for contractors working with wet concrete. 

The EB800 is the first model in the range to incorporate a fold-down rear step to enable the operator to ride on the unit over longer distances. 

This year Tufftruk is marking ten years since first actively selling its machines in the UK. The company is now also finding success in overseas markets including the US, Australia and New Zealand.
