Chart emissions with Trime
5 October 2022
Reacting to the drive towards Net Zero, manufacturers have been busy developing new equipment powered by environmentally-friendlier energy sources, often in hybrid configurations. However, in some cases the number of different options can make it difficult to choose between them all.
Trime UK has developed a convenient chart that compares the monthly emissions, fuel consumption, fuel costs, running time, recharge time and illumination coverage of all the eco-friendly machines in its lighting tower line-up.
Models available include the X-Eco, X-Eco Hybrid Lithium, X-Hybrid, X-Solar Hybrid, X-Solar, X-Pole Pro, X-Battery and X-Chain.
Ray Caulfield, Trime’s CEO, tells me that the chart enables hire companies to show customers the differences between each machine so they can select the most appropriate to suit they site where they are working and the level of carbon reductions they need to achieve.
Managing director Paul Hay adds that some hirers have several different Trime models in their fleets and that the chart will help with explaining the relative benefits to end users with different requirements.
Trime aims to phase out petrol and diesel versions of its site lighting, power generation and associated equipment by 2025, and replace them with emission-free models.
