TPA on track for Rail Live

Specialist temporary access systems supplier TPA will have a particular challenge for its provision of trackways at this year’s Rail Live exhibition, taking place on 19 and 20 June at the Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre in Warwickshire.

This year’s show is expanding onto a second field for 2024 but the ground conceals extensive gas mains which will require a double layer of TPA's heavy-duty aluminium roadway panels.

This is the fourth year that the hirer TPA has supplied Rail Live with temporary access solutions. The first two years were annual contracts but for 2023 and 2024 a two-year deal was agreed.

A team of up to five operatives will install the metal panels in showground areas during the week prior to the event, returning two days before it opens to install car park panels.

The trackways are typically used for single-panel roadways during build-up and breakdown, and on the in-between days visitors use them as designated walkways.
