Rotrex winch additions

Rotrex, a specialist provider of winch hire, sales, and support services, has expanded its European rental fleet with the addition of UP40 and UP50 winches manufactured by OMAC in Italy.

The equipment will meet growing demand for higher capacity winches required for diverse projects in industries such as telecommunications and utilities.

The UP40 and UP50 winch can constantly maintain maximum pulling capacities of 40kN and 50kN respectively, rope speeds of up to 13m/min under full load capacity, and rope capacities of up to 1500m, which together minimise labour costs.

The winches are light in weight and have composite canopies to facilitate towing on roads and work sites. They also have onboard data recording capabilities for data transmission and analysis.

Rotrex Group is a sister company of LGH UK and has bases in Alfreton, Atherton, Erith, Motherwell, and Aberdeen. It provides equipment including winches, all-terrain vehicles, cable drum trailers and cable pushers/blowers.
