Syrinx goes 365

Syrinx 365 has officially joined Point of Rental’s suite of hire software solutions.
The new software will have a global search bar, a public API allowing for integrations to accounting software, e-commerce solutions and customisable dashboards while building on Syrinx’s established functionality.
“Syrinx 365 is the next generation’s Syrinx,” said UK Managing Director Mark Goodrum. “It provides Syrinx’s proven back-end tools with a modern, easy-to-use front-end interface that hire businesses and their customers expect. The response from our early adopters has been overwhelmingly positive.”
Point of Rental says that beyond the global search bar, Syrinx 365’s customisable dashboards allow each user to bring to the forefront the widgets they need to easily conduct their business. Navigational areas are designed make it easy to link activities and to find at-a-glance information like weather, reports, and internal messaging.
The payment processing allows for secure tokenisation and real-time payments at the depot counter or online, while mobile apps for operators, workshop engineers, and drivers consolidate data and can cut down on errors associated with paper-based processes.

Syrinx 365 also gives users the ability to become Cyber Essentials accredited, helping UK users mitigate risks from common cyber attacks. The government-backed scheme assures customers that an organisation is securely conducting online business.

Syrinx 365 is available now for installation at office sites, with a cloud-hosted version available later this year.
