Groundhog versatility
20 March 2024
Recognising the need for adequate welfare facilities for both men and women at work sites, Genquip Groundhog has introduced its i500 unit in a twin toilet version.
The product incorporates battery and solar technology to reduce emissions. The 5m cabin accommodates 12 to 14 people and has a dedicated office space, with electrical equipment running off a 12V supply, says Groundhog.
The i500 twin toilet is designed to run in summer months without the on-board battery charger operating, offering up to 100% reductions in carbon emissions. During winter and night-time use, the battery charger will be required but with a reduction in running of up to 90% when compared to the standard version.
Each toilet is supplied with disposable bins for sanitary products, as well as dispensers.
