HAE Awards results

National hire groups certainly did well in the HAE Event Hire Association (HAE EHA) Hire Awards of Excellence for 2023, which were presented during the annual ceremony on 22 April at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
The full list of winners comprises:
SafeHire Plant, Tool & Equipment Hire Company of the Year under £10m Turnover: PSM Plant & Tool Hire Centres, for the third successive year
SafeHire Plant Tool & Equipment Hire Company of the Year over £10m Turnover: Carrier Rental Systems
SafeHire Event Hire Company of the Year: Sunbelt Rentals, also winners in 2022
Workshop Manager of the Year: Oscar Norman, Sunbelt Rentals
Hire Manager of the Year: Boyd Crombie, Vp Brandon Hire Station
Apprentice of the Year: David Smith, Vp Brandon Hire Station
Hire Achiever of the Year (chosen from the three categories above): Oscar Norman, Sunbelt Rentals
Young Apprentice of the Year: Harry Watts, HSS Hire
Hire Industry Supplier of the Year: Point of Rental Software, repeating their 2022 success
Hire Industry Product of the Year: Niftylift, for the HeightRider 17 All-Electric
Website of the Year: Vp Brandon Hire Station
Best Use of New Media: HSE
Digital Catalogue of the Year: HSS Hire, who also won in this category in 2022
Diversity & Inclusion Initiative: Boels Rental
Sustainability & CSR Initiative: Garic
In addition, Asif Latief, MD of Boels Rental, was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to Hire chairperson’s award in recognition of his work to improve mental health awareness and cross-company collaboration within the industry in his role as the HAE Mental Health Ambassador. Asif is pictured (below left) with HAE Chairman Neil Bravery.
