AER buy Hudson Lifting

AER Rents has acquired Hudson Lifting Ltd, a specialist provider of hire, sales, service and testing of lifting equipment throughout the UK.

The company was founded by Jeff Hudson and Danny Smalldridge in 2018, who were joined in the business shortly afterwards by Kevin Lewis. All will remain with the operation. 

Based in Tilbury, Hudson Lifting has other depots in Dartford and West Drayton to further support the London lifting market and has a team of 23 staff. The intention is to increase this to 12 locations throughout the country within the next five years.

The company is also able to provide bespoke lifting gear solutions for one-off requirements through its in-house design team, and can conduct tests and equipment examinations through its LEEA qualified engineers. 

Other AER Rents group businesses include Welfare 4 Hire, Mr Plant Hire, Drogheda Hire & Sales, Mainline Tool and Plant Hire and Chippindale Hire & Sales.
