Point of Rental adds consultancy service

Known for its hire management software and related products, Point of Rental has now introduced a general business consultancy service in European and African markets.

The company prides itself on the level of hire industry experience that many of its personnel have, derived from previously having worked in hire. 

“Our mission is to empower companies and individuals to reach their full potential,” said Point of Rental CEO Wayne Harris. “Consulting allows us to go beyond our software to help businesses get an outside set of expert eyes on their operations. And because we’re invested in their success, we’re there to work with them after the visit to ensure they get where they want to be.”

Currently, there are two dedicated business consultants working for Point of Rental’s UK team, namely James Walton and Alex Newman. 

James worked in the hire industry for 21 years prior to joining Point of Rental, starting as an engineer and having worked in accounts administration, as a hire controller and depot manager, and ultimately as a senior manager. 

Alex began in the industry as a technician in 1983 and has managed depots, IT systems, projects, businesses and systems, as well as having been a general manager. Since 2019, he has been working with new Point of Rental users to implement the software into their businesses.
