Online platform targets rehire opportunities

A number of national and regional hirers have successfully established rehire operations in recent years, enabling them to serve customers with a wide range of equipment over a larger regional area. 

Now a digital platform has been launched that can be used by other companies to create and manage similar operations without having to invest in having bespoke technology created. 

Rent Pay Go is designed to offer a closed rehire environment that is available only to a hirer’s chosen partner organisations and customers. 

Richard Moseley, who has previously worked for in-house rental services for construction and material handling machinery organisations, believes that this will protect hire rates and build stronger customer relationships. 

“The rental company can invite their customers to hire from them directly using the platform. It can also connect different particpating businesses so that they can rehire equipment digitally from the network of chosen partners.” 

The software, for which a patent might be applied for, is designed to offer customers a smooth hire transaction platform via the company they are familiar with, even though several businesses might be involved in supplying the equipment.

Richard says that the Rent Pay Go operation can help hirers build links with other local providers and enhance overall customer service. It is available to any size of business and is offered on a monthly subscription basis, with fees varying according to the number of rehire partners involved.
