Bobcat brand broadens

As part of a new global branding strategy, compact equipment manufacturer Doosan Bobcat, a company within the Doosan Group, has announced that Doosan Portable Power and Doosan Industrial Vehicle products will be rebranded as Bobcat machines.

Doosan Portable Power’s portfolio includes air compressors, mobile generators and lighting towers, while Doosan Industrial Vehicle supplies material handling equipment such as forklifts. 

Bobcat states that it has broadened its product portfolio significantly within the past five years, launching more machines during this period than previously in its entire history. It has added items like grounds maintenance equipment, compact tractors, small articulated loaders, mowers and turf equipment, alongside its established plant loaders, excavators, telehandlers. 

Doosan Infracore acquired Bobcat in 2007 and was incorporated into the Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) Group in 2021.
